Job duties:

Design, develop, and optimize large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines processing healthcare claims, eligibility, and provider datasets in AWS and Databricks environments. Build and maintain distributed data processing workflows using Apache Spark (Scala & PySpark) to handle multi-terabyte datasets efficiently. Lead migration initiatives converting Parquet-based data lakes to Delta Lake architecture with ACID compliance and schema enforcement. Implement incremental data loading strategies (Type 1 SCD, hash-based comparisons, surrogate key generation) to improve pipeline performance and data accuracy. Optimize Spark workloads by tuning partition strategies, executor memory, shuffle configurations, and cluster sizing to reduce processing time and cost. Develop automated orchestration workflows using Apache Airflow and Stonebranch for reliable job scheduling, monitoring, and alerting. Work under supervision. Travel and/or Relocation to various unanticipated client sites throughout USA is required.

Education Required:  Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/IS/ Engineering (any) or closely related field with Six (6) months of experience in the job offered or as an IT Consultant or Analyst or Programmer or Developer or Engineer or closely related field. Employer also accepts Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology/IS/Engineering(Any) or closely related field plus five years of progressive work experience in related field.

Experience Required: Experience of Six (6) months working with any one of Scala, PySpark, Apache Airflow, Stonebranch, Amazon Redshift or AWS S3 is required. Travel and/or relocation is required to unanticipated client sites within USA. International travel is not required.
